CE Program Overview


This interactive webinar covers the following topics: Modern Disability Frameworks, Common Mental Health Service Barriers Experienced by People with Disabilities, Legal & Ethical Requirements for Ensuring Disability Access, Communication Access & Accessible Technology Best Practices, and Creating Accessible Clinical Environments. Participants will have an opportunity to engage with each other through Small Group Breakout and a Guided Reflection Exercise.

This workshop is facilitated by Stephanie Dawson, MSW, LISW - Licensed Independent Social Worker with over 20 years experience in disability program administration, counseling, and psychotherapy. Stephanie is the American National Red Cross Disaster Disability Integration Senior Program Manager and former Director of the Miami University Miller Center for Student Disability Services. She is also a mental health service provider with professional experience and expertise in community mental health, telemental health service delivery, and holistic therapy techniques.
